  • ArtsBridge Summer 2015: More Highlights of our Acting and Musical Theater Faculty!

Welcome to our second installment of Faculty Friday, where we put the spotlight on some of our acting and musical theater faculty for ArtsBridge Summer 2015! If you missed our first post, be sure to check it out here.

Today we’re highlighting Gary Kline, David Maier, and Ralph Zito.

Gary Kline will be joining us for his third year as the Artistic Director of Musical Theater of ArtsBridge Summer, and it will be his fourth year with the program. Gary is Professor and Assistant Head of Acting and Musical Theater at Carnegie Mellon University’s prestigious School of Drama. At ArtsBridge, we can imagine nothing better than spending time with Gary around the piano.

David Maier will be teaching at ArtsBridge Summer Starter Edition, our brand new program in San Francisco. He teaches at Dueling Arts International and Berkeley Rep School of Theatre where he has designed and implemented theatre arts based curriculum for middle and high schools throughout the bay area. Dave has composed fights for over 80 professional productions and has served as fight director for the San Francisco Opera, California Shakespeare Theater, and The Shotgun Players.

Ralph Zito will be teaching acting this summer at ArtsBridge in Minneapolis. He has been the Drama Chair at Syracuse since 2010. Before Syracuse, he was the chair of the voice and speech department of the Juilliard School’s Drama Division. Students are excited that Ralph is able to join us for both weeks this summer, when last year we only had him for one. What amazes us about Ralph is the way he gets ArtsBridge students to really love Shakespeare.
