Musical Theater 2 provides specialized training on the pillars of musical theater, including private voice lessons, acting fundamentals and dance for advanced high school sophomores and juniors. Students who are serious about studying musical theater but not quite ready to concentrate solely on their college auditions can focus on their core training and hone their skills.
With this mission in mind, we are launching ArtsBridge Summer Virtual 2020. Given the current circumstances with COVD-19, we feel it is the safest choice for our students, faculty and staff. We have kept as much programming from our physical programs as possible and also taken advantage of the amazing opportunities that virtual teaching and learning can offer.
Our robust virtual curriculum will include one-on-one lessons and coaching, small group instruction, and large group classes in real-time. Content is designed from both an artistic and an admissions perspective including everything from lessons/coachings and acting classes, to sessions related to the college admissions process.
Normally, our programs culminate in a live mock audition for all faculty. Our virtual programs will culminate in video mock auditions, which will be reviewed by faculty. After the program, students will receive a written report from the faculty discussing their strengths and areas to improve in their videos as well as additional notes from their work in their online sessions.
Students will leave with a greater understanding of the college process from both an artistic and admissions perspective.
Musical Theater 2 is open to advanced rising sophomores and juniors. Rising seniors, apply to our Musical Theater program.
