Open only to students who are attending a 2-week ArtsBridge Summer program.

Are you a rising high school senior in the performing arts who wants to get a head start on your college application and essay workload? Do you want to improve your interview skills and polish your resume to showcase your achievements? Then JumpStart is for you!

Here’s what you can expect:

• Comprehensive review of the application process
• One-on-one support to complete the Common App
• Time & support to write your main college essay
• Practice interviews with expert coaches
• In-depth resume review

During JumpStart, students work closely with our experienced team of college admission and essay experts, who work year-round guiding high school students on all aspects of the college admission process both academic and artistic. ArtsBridge college counselors provide a comprehensive review of the application process, including deadlines, requirements, and best practices as well as one-on-one support as students complete most or all of the main sections of the Common App. With feedback and revisions from our essay coach, students make significant progress on their main college essay and learn how to craft personal statements and supplemental essays that showcase their unique talents and experiences. Students have the opportunity to practice interview skills with each other and with ArtsBridge coaches, gaining confidence and experience with the college interview and audition format. The program also includes a comprehensive resume review, to identify strengths and achievements and present them in a professional and compelling manner.

Tuition: $2,750

Room & Board: $500

*Room & Board includes 4 nights in the dorms and 3 meals per day. Students will have continuous housing throughout JumpStart and their 2-Week ArtsBridge Summer program.

Eligibility

JumpStart is a 4-day add-on program for students attending a 2-week ArtsBridge Summer program. Open to rising seniors planning to apply to college arts programs. Open to students in any discipline: ArtSong, Dramatic Acting, and Musical Theater students are all welcome and encouraged to attend.
