Quin Gordon (he/him) is a full Professor of Acting within the UNCSA School of Drama. He also serves as the Director of Recruitment, auditioning hundreds of applicants for the college program each year. His professional directing career was centered in NYC for many years. Quin received his MFA in Directing from UNCG, BFA in Directing from UNCSA and is a graduate of The New Actors Workshop, where he trained under Mike Nichols, Paul Sills, and George Morrison. At UNCSA, he directed main stage productions of The Revolutionists, The Cherry Orchard, The Great Comet of 1812, Lydia, Amadeus (co-production with School of Music), The Loneliness of the Long-Distance Runner, Sweat, The Cider House Rules: Parts 1 & 2, Balm in Gilead,Middletown,The Last Days of Judas Iscariot,Good(co-production with School of Music), andThe Memorandum.
