ArtsBridge Fall: Meisner is a series of 8 classes focused on Meisner-based acting work. In this weekly workshop, students will practice the value of developed contact and advanced crafting of activities, ultimately focusing on the importance of applying it all to scripted material.
Classes are taught by Kevin Kittle – Professor Emeritus, Rutgers University and Expert Meisner Teacher.
This course is open to any students who have attended ArtsBridge Summer. It is a follow-up to the ArtsBridge Summer Dramatic Acting work that covered the fundamentals of the Meisner Technique. Previous attendance in that particular class is recommended but not required.
Dates: September 25 – December 4, 2021
Schedule: 8 Saturday classes, 11am – 2pm Eastern (September 25, October 2, October 16, October 23, October 30, November 13, November 20, December 4)
ArtsBridge Fall is open to high school students who have attended ArtsBridge Summer programs.
Admission to the program is by video audition. You can read more about the audition and application requirements and apply here. The application is open on a rolling basis (first-come, first served) until the program is filled.
