Caterina Falli, English as a Second Language, Sierra College

Caterina has worked in the field of English language teaching for over twenty years. She recently relocated back to familiar territory in California and is currently on staff at the Sierra College Writing Center in Nevada County, California. From 2004 to 2016, Caterina served as the Director of the Eastman Writing Center and Associate Professor of English as a Second Language at the Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester. Prior to her work at Eastman, Caterina taught ESL at several California Bay Area educational institutions, including Chabot College, The Academy of Art University and San Francisco State University’s College of Extended Learning. In addition to ESL teaching, she served as curriculum director, then program director for The American Language Academy in Berkeley, California. She earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees at McGill University in Montreal and San Francisco State University respectively. With a longstanding commitment as an ESL educator, she is delighted to teach ESL at ArtsBridge.
